When we find our purpose and walk in the passion that the Lord has stirred in our soul; everyday is a dance. We move through each and every day soaked and saturated in the Word of God gently nudging our spirit, prompting our motions, guiding our steps, and pulling our heart to lead in love and compassion. The melody of God’s Word becomes the hum in our heart, the beat in which we move, and the rhythm of our soul.
Life this side of Heaven can be challenging and often crippling. Our situations and circumstances can pull on our spirit and often we feel the music has stopped playing. The truth is that every score of music has a time of rest. A moment where the music settles in our spirit and we are given the pause to receive the beauty of the notes. Even God’s Word has a time of rest and waiting. The Israelites waited and wondered in the desert for 40 years. God’s people waited in silence for 400 years without a prophet or King to deliver a Divine message. There are times in our life when the Lord appears to be silent. However, it is in those moments of rest that Kingdom building work is being prepared and cultivated.
When you surrender and relax in the rest, your partner (the Holy Spirit) will begin to lead you in a new dance. A dance of freedom, a dance of love, a dance filled with a melody that will saturate your soul with hope! So today allow the melody of God’s Word to wash over you and begin to move your spirit in a new rhythm, maybe even in the rest or silence you’ll be set free and inspired to truly dance! #holyspirit #ihopeyoudance #newlife #abundantlife #weareovercome
“And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment. So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and the blowing of rams’ horns.” 2 Samuel 6:14-15
“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!” Psalm 30:11-12
