GRACE

Monday mornings are a time of reflection. The last couple weeks have been busy in the life of these two pastors. We have celebrated joyous occasions, as a new couple became one in Holy Matrimony. We have walked with people through extreme loss and grief. We have shared time with educators preparing for the new school year and treasured our time serving with others out of love. We have shared in each other’s stories.

Rev. Jim McRae shared a message of grace with us yesterday, a message that was a powerful reminder to the unmerited favor of God. Grace, a beautiful gift that takes us off road to love and opens our heart with a spontaneous ability to extend and encourage another human being. Grace that moves us beyond our story into eternal life. We were all left to reflect on how this world is starving for GRACE. That is when you know your pastor is dialing in to the Holy Spirit and communicating the Word to a world so desperately starving for truth! (We are so thankful for you Rev. Jim, anointed beyond your understanding). If you missed the message Sunday, check it our on our facebook page, it will leave you with much to think about this week.

Thank you Jim for sharing a very timely message as we navigate this time in history. What if we choose grace before condemnation? What if we multiplied grace instead of populating hate? What if we marinated in grace versus soaking in gossip? What if we truly began to learn someone’s story before assuming crumbs of perception? What if grace truly became our default? We want the world to change, it begins by receiving the unmerited grace of a Savior and then extending that same grace to our brothers and sisters.

This week let’s go off road, and live and breathe a life of the amazing grace we are given in Christ and let the world see we are Christians by our love! #weareovercome #holyspiritcome #graceupongrace #gooffroad #thisiswhatlovelookslike #lovealwayswins

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

“But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.” James 4:6
